Accounting Support Specialist

Quorum Information Systems Inc. is focused on developing, marketing, selling, implementing and supporting its XSELLERATORTM Dealership Management Software product to the automotive retail market. XSELLERATOR is a dealership and customer management software product which automates, integrates and streamlines processes within every department in a dealership. Quorum currently is the second largest supplier of Dealership Management Systems for GM in Canada. Quorum is a Microsoft ISV Partner.

Quorum Information Systems Inc. requires an Accounting Support Specialist for our St. John’s, NL office. This is primarily a phone support role for our XSELLERATOR dealership management system (DMS). As a Support Services Specialist, you are committed to achieving the highest standards of customer satisfaction through your outstanding, positive and enthusiastic attitude. You will be responsible to directly interact with Quorum clients in a professional manner in order to satisfy their requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Supplying attentive, timely and accurate answers to customer questions via phone, email or web.

  • Learning features and functions of XSELLERATOR to improve product and dealership business environment knowledge.

  • Training dealership staff on the proper use of XSELLERATOR for their business operations.

  • Following-up with customer inquiries and staying in touch with customers about their outstanding issues.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with solid attention to detail

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 3+ years accounting experience (In an automotive dealership would be an asset)

  • Completion of Certificate in Accounting or Diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products

  • Professional telephone etiquette

  • Highly effective customer service skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and staff and is a team player

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a face paced environment

  • An intermediate knowledge of third party accounting system software is an asset

  • A natural affinity for learning computer software

  • Able to work rotating shift work (8:30am – 9:30pm M-F, 11:30am-3:30pm Sat)
